Questions for Discussion:

  1. What do you think about the tips the author provides about being a better ally to LGBTQ+ people that have disabilities? Did anything surprise you? Is there anything that you would add that would go even further?
     
  2. What are some of the specific ways you could take these general recommendations to ensure that your organization / group is inclusive and accessible to the LGBTQ+ disabled community?
     
  3. Have you ever partnered with a disability rights/advocacy group to do any program work in the past? If not, brainstorm what a partnership might look like and who you can connect with to make it happen. Then implement your plan.
