Questions for Discussion:

  1. Does the fact that 71% of all LGBTQ+ service providers, in Chicago, were located in majority white areas surprise you? Why or why not?
  2. Do you think it is likely that such discrepancies exist in other cities and states? Why do you think that?
  3. This article argued that transportation and security/surveillance could create barriers for LGBTQ+ people of color attempting to access care and services. In your opinion, what are some ways that care and service providers could help to alleviate those barriers?
